- The ruins are surrounded on three sides with the walls. The eastern side is the coast. Even though this seems to be unprotected, it was very well protected. The second largest barrier reef runs along the coast. It is said there are many Spanish ships sunk there.
On the backside of the Castle were stairs leading to the beach.
The Temple of Wind from behind the Castle. It would have been very peaceful if there hadn't been so many people.
If you look very closely, the dark blue line in the water is some of the coral barrier that protected the Mayan City.
This is behind the Castle as well. We have had enough of the heat and the people. It is time for us to go.
