Belize 2006 - Continued
Our dive trips center around two things, diving and dining. Sometimes we add in a little shopping.
One of the available dining areas.
Most of the eating was done here. No one missed a meal because the food was excellent, especially the fish. However, depending on your dives, you may not get to eat at the same time as everyone else.
Our chef. Mr. Sam made a mean fish fillet, as well as, homemade donuts and chocolate chip cookies.
The Snack of Champions. Lynn is enjoying the beer and cookies that Mr. Sam made for one of our snacks. Hmm.
Everyday the guys go out spear fishing, after we dive, and bring back dinner. Some of us are picky enough that we don't want it staring at us, so Pablo is helping Mr. Sam and us out.
The island had everything we needed, including the local watering hole.
Since TV and the Internet were really not available, you could try your hand against the locals that come in by boat.
After a hard day of diving, it's time for dinner, but you have to stop and take in the beauty.
Even the trees are festive.
Ahh. Isn't it just too much?
Sunrise, Day 3.
Sunrise, Day 4. Larry joined me today for the sunrise, but he was not my usual morning buddy.
Meet my usual morning buddy. His name is Scooby-Doo. He is obviously one of the abused dogs on the island.
Scooby and his Mom always keep us apprised of meal times. You can see them trotting across the compound at 3:55 for the 4:00 snack.
Presenting, Snoopy. She is Scooby's Mom.
Our biggest problem with the puppies was, they always wanted to lie on your feet during meal times.
