Belize 2006 - Continued
We boarded the Chum boat on the first day. It didn't take long, and we were back on the beach. The majority of the divers fed the fish.
Wildlife on the island.
We didn't waste our day, though. We wandered around the island to see what else was there.
Be careful of the cocoanuts, they randomly fall.
Conch shells just come up with the tide and hang out in the mangrove.
Yes, the beach was lovely.
Day 2. The sunrises seem to just get better and better.
Yard work is never done. Just ask Pablo.
With a smaller boat, there are fewer people to get ready, so we spend less time bobbing on the surface. This means no one gets seasick, Yea!
Not many of the underwater pictures came out, but this is some of the coral we saw.
An eel peeked out to greet us. He is in the center, just under the brain coral.
This turtle was quite a distance from us, but I have tried to clean the photo enough so you can see him. It is so exciting to see these creatures underwater, I really wanted a picture of him. In fact, Nevill banged on his tank to reprimand me for trying to follow him.
